Phil Mak Hair was founded by Philomena van Konijnenburg (formerly Philomena Makhumula-Nkhoma), a qualified hair stylist since 2013. In 2020, Philomena transformed part of her home into a cosy and professional salon space, built on the values of inclusivity, expertise, and healthy hair care.
