Davinson and Mason Brand Design
The Davinson & Mason brand was inspired by the precision, accuracy and clean lines that are fundamental to engineering. I wanted the identity to have a strong, confident and professional appearance while visually reflecting the nature of the work the company carries out.
Working in Adobe Illustrator, I explored ways of incorporating the initials D and M into a simple, recognisable mark. By merging the two letters together, I developed a shape inspired by a T-joint and steel plate, representing the preparation and precision involved in welding and fabrication.
The result is a clean and distinctive identity that combines the D/M initials with an engineering-inspired form, creating a logo that feels both modern and technically relevant. (Paul Bowen – Brand Designer)
